The motto of Cooks Venture is: You have the right to know what’s in your meat’. Everything about how Cooks Venture operate truly resembles this motto and statement. The work with all American farmers who raise livestock of heritage breeds to the highest standards. The truly live up to the buzz words, marketing, labeling and certification standards. All farms are locally in the USA and family owned.
They were founded in Northwest Arkansas where they started their venture with a heritage breed poultry third-generation farmer named Blake Evans. A true American patriot and a proud supporter and supplier of the Cooks Venture butcher box program.
Aside from chicken, Cooks Venture has since expanded and build up supply chain relationships with other all American pig farmers, beef farmers and fisherman from the USA.

Pasture-Raised Heirloom Chicken
It’s a Cooks Venture unique breed from a heritage line. They grow slow, no use of antibiotics or added hormones. Because the natural growth the bird develops properly and actually has strong bones and a robust taste. It’s a more labour intensive, but healthy way of raising poultry. A healthy chicken means healthy meat, which means a better taste.
100% Grass-Fed Beef
Cooks Venture Beef is 100% grass-fed, pasture raised, grass-fed and grass-finished. It’s mostly sourced from California, USA, but when demand exceeds supply the extra will be sourced from New Zealand. Grass-fed and grass-finished means the sole source of food was grass, 100% grass-fed. The food cows are supposed to eat. The farmers in this co-op use regenerative agricultural practices, allow the livestock to raom freely on the green pastures and make sure that the highest standards for animal welfare are being maintained. They are proud suppliers of the Cooks Venture butcher box delivery service.
Kurobuta Pork
Cooks Venture pork is sourced solely from the USA. Raised outdoors in fresh air, no use of added hormones or antibiotics. A healthy pig means healthy meat. The Kurobuta breed is a unique breed which is the best for pork consumption. A true tasty delicatesse originating from Japan. It has a generous marbling, is tender and amazing flavor.
